In order to show the Omnichannel dream, we set out to build an iOS and Android mobile app in 4 days using Sitecore Experience Edge for Content Hub.

Typically for demo's hypotheticals and emulators are used to showcase a use case. In this particular instance, we chose to actually push the mobile apps to the app stores.

Yesterday we presented The Sitecore Experience Edge: Headless Content Delivery At-Scale, you can find the YouTube video here.

The Sitecore Experience Edge for the Sitecore Content Hub is the best way to deliver Omnichannel experiences. In this demo, we showcased content being pushed to the web channel using this website: The Sitecore Experience Edge for Content Hub - Content as a Service!

The above site was built using Next.js and the source code is publicly available on https://github.com/konabos/Next.js-Starter-kit-using-GraphQL-and-Sitecore-Content-Hub-Content-as-a-Service

Our second challenge was to provide it on another channel. We chose to build the mobile app for iOS and Android using Flutter.

From design to pushing to the app stores took just 4 days. The GraphQL endpoint on the Sitecore Experience Edge was very easy to work with to pull the data.

The initial screen shows a greeting.

Once you click the Let's go button the app takes you to the screen where we display the products which are on the Delivery API in the final publish state.

You can toggle between the Delivery and the Preview API using the toggle in the upper right-hand corner.

You can press on any of the products to see the details.

Currently, the iOS app is under review.

However, the Android app was approved just in time for the presentation.

You can download it from the Android Play store using the following QR Code:
