Hi, this is Akshay Sura from Konabos. Today we'll be talking about Kontent by Kentico.
What is Kontent by Kentico?
Kontent by Kentico is a headless CMS. A headless CMS is a content management system that provides a way for us to author content unlike its peers, like a traditional web CMS. The content is not tightly coupled with the presentation the way it works. The content in a headless CMS can be authored separately and provided over an API. What does that mean? It means that you can author the content in one place and use it in different channels.
So, unlike the web CMS, which is typically geared towards a website in a headless CMS, you could create content which can be used on a website, on a mobile app, on a gaming console, on a POS system, on an IoT device, so it is much more geared towards being multichannel. So that's what a headless system is for, and kontent is one of my favorite headless CMS. I hope you found this useful.
