Konabos assisted Mesa Collections in simplifying its digital experience platform (DXP) infrastructure to lower costs and improve performance. This initiative was driven by the need to harmonize their DXP due to factors such as acquisitions and outdated implementations.
Mesa faced multiple challenges, including the need to harmonize and simplify their DXP infrastructure, lower total ownership costs, facilitate easier brand onboarding, reduce reliance on specialized resources, and enhance agility in application and content delivery. Additionally, it was crucial to ensure the new solution was scalable, secure, and efficient while centralizing the management of content, product, and customer data.
To tackle these challenges, Konabos implemented a Jamstack-based Modular DXP. The approach began with migrating smaller brands to a pure Jamstack setup and progressed towards centralizing all content and product information management. The resulting headless omnichannel CMS infrastructure included tools like Contentful, Cloudinary, Salsify, Next.js, and Netlify.
The implementation led to a significant reduction in infrastructure costs by 95% and CMS-related savings of 71%. Performance improved by 50%, development costs dropped by 60%, and the time-to-market for new initiatives accelerated by 80%.
