In the first week of November 2025, I had a chance to attend the partners conference organized by Kentico. It was a day filled with valuable insights from Kentico, MVPs, and other partners. It is not a surprise that one of the topics repeatedly discussed was AI.
Everything started with a welcome speech delivered by Dominik Pinter, from which we could learn a great deal about Kentico’s priorities, strategies, the importance of partner collaboration, as well as the challenges that all DXP platforms face today.
Then Debbie Tucek and David Slavik took the stage to unveil Kentico’s product development priorities and innovations on the horizon – that was a show! What Debbie and David presented clearly shows that the Kentico team knows exactly where they are heading and has a clear strategy to execute their plan. Kentico does a lot to make development, migrations, and upgrades as quick as possible. They also focus on helping agencies to stream budgets in the direction of real value delivered to the final customers. The goal is to minimize spending on topics such as upgrades and resolving code issues, and maximize ROI by allocating funds to areas that truly matter – like creating better content, running effective marketing campaigns, or enhancing commerce. Examples provided by David show that to achieve that, Kentico wants not only to keep improving the product itself but also to empower partners with an AI toolkit so they can speed everything up, too. At this point, I noticed a crack in my, as I thought, quite solid lack of enthusiasm for AI in its current shape.
After such an interesting introduction to what comes from Kentico, we moved to the Technical track sessions prepared by Kentico MVPs. Milan Lund presented what he learned during the migration process from Kentico Experience to Xperience by Kentico and how AI let him to speed up the work. Liam Goldfinch presented a few successful outcomes of projects heavily supported by AI in various forms. I think we can use a paraphrase of “Content is the king” and say “Context is the king” to summarize it in one sentence.
At the end, Jeroen Furst moved us to a completely different level with his agentic AI examples - that was a show of AI automation mixed with potentially unlimited creativity. Demos prepared by Jeroen showed that if you only find a balance between the usage of different AI products, automate and integrate it with your ecosystem, you can make your team feel that they are really superpowered by AI and they can use their time better instead of doing repetitive, non-creative tasks over and over again.
I also had a chance to share some knowledge about MCP servers run from the Docker containers, secured and managed by Docker MCP Gateway – quite a complex and technical topic. Even though MCP servers are quite easy to use, from the discussions I had later, I know that many of us still do not have any experience with them or do not even understand what they are.
Next session led by Lukas Bajer – “Lean coffee” – revealed where many of the companies are with the AI adoption. The great majority was there to hear about the experience someone can share, but it was a challenge when only a few had well-structured knowledge and real experience with AI implementation and process. Of course, as the session was in the technical track, the topic of Software Developers losing their jobs at some point had to be discussed – without a cheerful conclusion. Developers will need to adapt. Those who will not adapt will stay behind and become useless.
Should we then worry or have a fear of missing out – yes, I think we should!
If so many people and companies are still looking at AI with only curiosity, without reflection on bringing that into their own environments, then the future can be quite painful for some of them. Luckily, Kentico treats AI very seriously and plans on helping all the partners and customers to take a step into the future.
Take FOMO as a positive and do not delay AI adoption anymore.

For over 18 years, I have developed numerous solutions for customers worldwide. I specialize in DXP platforms, including Sitecore, Xperience by Kentico, and various CMSs such as Umbraco. So far, I have been awarded nine times with the Sitecore MVP title, once with the Kentico MVP. I continuously support various communities by organizing local user groups and larger conferences like Sitecore User Group Conference Europe (SUGCON Europe), as well as by sharing knowledge through blog posts.
