Konabos is not a vendor. They are a partner. In our partnership, there is a genuine concern for the individuals and our organization at American Bath Group.
Akshay and his team at Konabos have been instrumental in helping support and advance our digital platform. More importantly, they listen to what direction we want to go and offer options and solutions to us. They are true partners in every sense, and we're thankful for them.

Reduction in time-to-market for new product launches, thanks to the agility of the composable DXP.
American Bath Group (ABG), a global leader in bath product manufacturing, faced mounting challenges with its outdated monolithic Digital Experience Platform (DXP). As ABG expanded, their existing platform became costly, inefficient, and unable to support growth or integrate new acquisitions seamlessly. To address this, ABG partnered with Konabos to transition to a composable DXP, enabling the company to modernize its digital infrastructure. This migration not only reduced costs but also positioned ABG for long-term scalability and operational efficiency.
The new composable DXP allowed ABG to integrate disparate systems, streamline operations, and eliminate duplicated efforts across brands. The modular, cloud-based platform provided flexibility, security, and improved front-end performance, ensuring that ABG’s digital transformation supported future growth. By implementing a best-in-class architecture, Konabos helped ABG optimize its digital experience, reduce costs, and enhance its ability to scale and innovate.
ABG’s existing monolithic DXP was burdened by high infrastructure and operational costs, and its rigid structure limited the company’s ability to scale. As ABG expanded, they struggled with duplicating technologies across brands, leading to inefficiencies and increased complexity. The system's lack of flexibility hindered the integration of new acquisitions, forcing ABG to manage redundant systems, which further slowed operations and drove up costs.
The company needed a modern, scalable solution that could unify their digital ecosystem and provide long-term flexibility. ABG was also faced with rising renewal costs for the outdated platform, making it clear that they required a cost-effective, secure, and agile system capable of supporting their aggressive growth strategy without duplicating efforts or causing operational delays.
Konabos initiated a comprehensive review of ABG’s digital ecosystem, identifying opportunities to reuse existing technologies while replacing outdated systems where needed. The solution involved migrating from the monolithic DXP to a modular, cloud-based composable DXP, which allowed ABG to scale efficiently, integrate new acquisitions seamlessly, and eliminate duplicated technologies. Starting with ABG’s largest brand, Maax, the migration was designed to extend to other brands, streamlining operations across the entire organization.
The new platform incorporated several key technologies, such as Kontent CMS for content management, Cloudinary DAM for asset management, and Salsify PIM for product information. By leveraging these tools, along with SAP for enterprise operations and Vercel for optimized front-end performance, Konabos delivered a flexible, high-performing system. This composable DXP drastically reduced operational costs and improved both scalability and security, future-proofing ABG’s digital infrastructure.
The transition to a composable DXP resulted in a 66% reduction in ABG’s infrastructure and operational costs. These savings enabled ABG to reinvest in their digital transformation, accelerating the migration of additional brands and streamlining their operations. The new platform’s modular nature allowed for seamless integration of systems from acquisitions, eliminating duplication and inefficiencies, and supporting faster time-to-market for new products and services.
Moreover, the composable architecture enhanced ABG’s scalability, security, and front-end performance. By leveraging Vercel and Next.js, ABG optimized deployment and delivered a seamless user experience, strengthening their competitive position in the market. This transformation not only reduced costs but also equipped ABG with the flexibility and efficiency needed to support their long-term growth strategy.
